Notice for Acuvue
lenses in Egypt (Beginning of 2010)
Acuvue lenses will
probably be avalable in Egypt. With a new dealer of Johnson and
Johnson, it is promised that Acuvue lines will be in the market
again in the first quarter of 2010. Currently, we continue
to supply these lenses only through residual stocks. Meanwhile,
other equally excellent brands are still on full supply |

Acuvue 2 has a new, improved thin edge
profile, designed to improve the comfort and handling of this
lens. Always consult your optician before changing from Acuvue
to Acuvue 2. Like Acuvue, Acuvue2 also has a flexible wearing
schedule, which gives you the options of either using the lens
as a daily two-week lens where you take the lens out each night,
clean it and insert it the next morning – or as an overnight
one-week lens where you wear the lens constantly (day and night)
for a week and then after 7 days replace it with a new one. It
is also quite common to wear Acuvue 2 as a monthly disposable

Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism
Acuvue toric is a toric lens for those who have astigmatism.
Theses lenses can be used as a 2 week lens that you would remove
each night and clean so that they can be used again, next day.
You can also use them as a 1 week lens that you could leave in
while sleeping for a whole week instead of removing them each
night. Always follow your Optometrists advice for the usage of

Wearing
Make-up with Contact Lenses
- Always insert your lenses before applying any eye make-up.
Likewise, remove your lenses before removing your make-up.
- Try to use cream eye-shadows instead of powders.
- Do not use eye make-up which contains glitter.
- Use water based make-up.
- Do not use mascara that contains lash-building fibres.
- Do not apply eyeliner inside the lower eyelid.
