How do we see determines how we perceive the world around us. As mankind has always longed for better vision, knowledge and technology has evolved over the past millennia, centuries and decades to achieve this goal. Before the revolution of laser eye treatment and LASIK, different types of refractive surgery have come and gone, but I have consistently recommended against these procedures for most people. The LASIK procedure is different. I now recommend you consider LASIK if you have trouble with your glasses and contacts, or have a strong desire to see better without glasses. It still is not for everyone and you must meet certain guidelines.

Today’s active lifestyle demands for visual performance that we can rely on, night and day, with freedom from glassed and contact lenses. That is why LASIK or laser vision correction has been chosen by millions to correct their eyesight errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Why not join those who have benefited from this life changing treatment by Dr Khalil. Ongoing investment in the most advanced technology combined with a commitment to the highest levels of patient care puts Dr Khalil practice in Cairo, Egypt, in the forefront of laser correction centers managing these eyesight errors.

There are many things that need to be considered before determining whether laser eye surgery is right for you. Laser eye surgery is a surgical procedure and should be approached in the same manner as any other surgery you may have.

a LASIK story in the Eye of Cairo

(an international center for lasik and laser corrective surgery)

The procedure took about 15 minutes. There was no pain whatsoever.  In fact the process was quite psychedelic and a bit like going into space and back again.  For a few hours after the treatment, vision is blurred as the eyes readjust.  But the benefits are soon realised with more improvements the following day.
