when you decide to have LASIK in the Eye of Cairo

• Expected stay: The procedure itself takes about 15 minutes and you go back to your hotel soon afterwards. The first and important follow-up examination is made in the same evening or the following morning. Though basically this can be all what is needed, we recommend you to stay at least 3 days afterwards to make the second follow-up examination. During these few days or more, you might want to explore the city of Cairo and around, see the magnificent pyramids; the only remaining of the ancient 7 wonders of the world, visit the historical Bazaar, The masterpieces of Islamic art scattered throughout the old city, the Egyptian Museum with its priceless Tut Ankh Amun and countless other attractions.

• Transportation from your hotel to/fro the clinic in your first consultation visit and the first visit after the LASIK, as well as from your hotel to/fro the laser center will be arranged at no extra charge.

• If you would like us to organize your stay, please e-mail us your flight info so that we can welcome you from the Airport and make your transfer to your hotel or to the clinic according to your schedule. Our patients receive a special discount at a 5-star hotel close to our clinic.
• Trip organization is our courtesy service (no additional fees).

• A “Sightseekers” package where hotel, transport and guided daytrips can be arranged in a 3 or a 5 stars hotel near the clinic at special rates.

• Guided tours to the city of Cairo in several languages can be arranged on request.
• Alternatively a fluent English speaking taxi driver can drive you to different attractions.
