These are pictures I
had during a brief visit to Venice. I was invited to a top level
refractive surgery symposium organised by Dr Roberto Pinelli, head
of the Institute of Laser and Eye Microsurgery. This symposium
focusing on Bresbyopia was held in Sermione in the magnificent lake
destrict in Northern Italy. Venice was too close to be missed (about
2 hours by train), so I did, and heded to the most special cities in
the world Venice. I could only stay overnight, so what I did was
actually endless walking throughout day and night in the ever "lose
yourself and your way to beauty" in the winding alleys, in, along
and across the canals, with gondolas, cathedrals medieval squares,
and ... beauty in every detail..
